Motivation training Zermatt

Werth Messtechnik has already organized motivational training in the mountains on several occasions. In 2018, for example, around 40 colleagues, some even from the USA and China, accepted the invitation to the Valais Alps. According to the arrival by bus, they took the special cogwheel train from Zermatt to the hotel on the 3,135 meter high Gornergrat. The spectacular landscape with panoramic views of 38 four-thousand-metre peaks provided the perfect backdrop for overcoming challenges together. After two days of acclimatization with easy hikes, it was time to "go up" on the third day. The group came closer to the Matterhorn than ever before with the joint ascent to the Hörnlihütte (3,260 meters). The next day, 18 people in four rope teams ventured up the glacier to the Breithorn (4,164 meters) and also impressed the mountain guides with their above-average team spirit. For the less trained, a visit to the ice palace in the Theodul Glacier was on the program at the same time. The group then returned to the hut to discuss their experiences over cheese fondue and other delicacies. A night-time guideway through the "Stellarium" on the Gornergrat with an explanation of the astronomers' technology was also particularly interesting for the Werth Messtechnik team.
