Industrial computed tomography (CT) for measurements of extremely large workpieces

The TomoScope® XL is versatile, capable of performing measurement and inspection tasks on large, solid workpieces. To broaden its applications, a second X-ray source can be automatically alternated in this multisensor coordinate measuring machine with X-ray tomography. This allows for additional measurements of small components with the highest resolution. The areas of application encompass a wide range of high-density workpieces, including aluminum, steel, titanium, elastomers, hybrid plastics, 2K materials, ceramics, multi-material assemblies (such as connectors), and glass-fiber reinforced plastics.
