Artifacts are reduced by filtering the low-frequency radiation components so that even large or difficult to penetrate workpieces can be measured. Beam hardening filters in various materials and thicknesses ensure the optimum combination of artifact reduction and low noise. The selected filter is automatically changed at the start of the measuring program.
