Benefits

Tasks that were previously reserved for contour measuring instruments can now be solved by the Werth Contour Probe on the multisensor coordinate measuring machine. The tactile-optical contour probe enables tactile contour measurement in defined workpiece coordinates for the first time. In contrast to classic contour measuring instruments, the special guideway system of the WCP allows scanning in any cutting edge without a preferred direction.

Roughness can also be measured under CNC control and contours can be scanned in the workpiece coordinate system without reclamping the workpiece
Roughness parameters can be calculated in accordance with standards using the roughness library integrated in the WinWerth® measurement software
CNC-controlled changing of the sensors is possible via a changing rack
