The retracting axis automatically moves the multi-sensor changing rack to a parking position outside the measuring range. This means that the entire measuring range is available for measuring the workpieces and collisions between the sensors and the changing rack are avoided. For some applications, a measuring machine with a small measuring range is sufficient.
