The combination of several sensors into one multi-sensor system offers increased ease of use and measurement time savings due to the elimination of sensor change cycles. With the different sensor principles, the patented CFZ has a high degree of flexibility. As there is no sensor offset, a small and therefore more cost-effective measuring machine can often be used.

The intensity of the reflected light is highest for the color that corresponds to the distance from the workpiece f). This is evaluated using a spectrometer g). An image processing sensor i) (illumination not shown) is additionally integrated via a divider mirror h).
